Professor Abbas Tejani
Abbas is a Principal GP based in Leicester with a phenomenal experience in both primary and secondary care. Abbas has worked for both the CCG and currently sits on the Executive Board of his local hospital trust.
Abbas has worked as a Primary Care Surgeon for a number of years, undertaking 1,500 to 2,000 procedures a year, both in the community and in hospital. He has worked for 18 months undertaking skin cancer excisions in the Dermatology department at his local hospital trust. Additionally, he travels both nationally and internationally as an RCGP-accredited tutor to teach Minor Surgery and Joint Injections to GPs.
Abbas is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leicester Medical School where he chairs the City Academy and is also a tutor on the CHDD course.
