Dr. Ralph Mitchell
Dr Ralph Mitchell is a GP with an extended role in musculoskeletal medicine and sports and exercise medicine. He was a trauma and orthopaedic trainee before moving to general practice. He has since completed a masters degree in sports medicine and the new FSEM diploma in musculoskeletal medicine. He has recently collaborated in publications in tendon disorders and teaches MSK medicine to both undergraduate and post graduate level.
He has a particular passion for exercise as medicine and it’s benefit for holistic care for patients treating musculoskeletal and other chronic diseases.
Outside of medicine he is a father of 3 children and competes in Ironman events and endurance cycling.
